Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to Jagdamba Service Centre. By utilizing our repair, maintenance, and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions:

  • Branded Spare Parts: All branded spare parts used during repairs will be provided to the customer and billed strictly on the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MRP).
  • Physical Damage Exclusions: Any physical damage to the appliance, whether accidental or due to negligence, is not covered under our Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) plans.
  • Wear and Tear Parts: Plastic components, glass parts, light bulbs, and other items subject to regular wear and tear are not covered under the AMC.
  • Customer Relocation: If the customer relocates or is transferred to a location outside our service area, the AMC will automatically become null and void. No refunds will be issued for the unexpired portion of the AMC.
  • Inspection & Visit Charges: If our service engineer conducts an inspection and the customer decides not to avail the suggested repair service, standard inspection/visit charges will apply.
  • After-Hours Surcharge: A surcharge of Rs 150 is applicable for services requested and performed after-hours between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM.
  • AMC Visit Charges: No visit charges are applicable for customers with an active and valid AMC.
  • AMC Activation: An Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) will be offered and issued to the customer only after our engineer inspects the appliance and ensures it is in proper working condition. If the appliance is not functioning at the time of inspection, it must be repaired on a chargeable basis first, after which the AMC can be activated.
  • Appliance Transportation: If we are unable to repair an appliance at the customer's premises and must transport it to our service centre for advanced diagnostics or repairs, the transportation and handling charges must be borne by the customer.
  • Authorized Engineers: Only authorized service engineers designated by Jagdamba Service Centre are authorized to perform repair and maintenance tasks under the AMC. Customers must register complaints through our official Helpline (+91-9213783838) or designated channels.
  • AMC Cancellation: In case the customer decides to cancel the AMC before the completion of the contract period, there shall be no refund of the charges for the remaining/unexpired period.
  • Emergency Services & Delays: While every reasonable effort will be made to provide preferential attention and expedited response times for emergency repair requests, the Company shall not be held liable or responsible for any losses arising due to service delays.
  • Advance Payments: All payments for AMC plans must be made in full and in advance along with the AMC Work Order Form.
  • Descaler Benefits: In hard water areas, regular descaling protects appliances (like washing machines and geysers) from limescale build-up. Washing machines should be descaled every three to six months to improve wash quality and extend appliance life.
  • Disposal of Replaced Parts: Our service engineer is authorized to collect and retain the old, replaced spare parts during any repair performed under the AMC period.
  • Jurisdiction: All transactions, agreements, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi.
